How to Make Bread Platter with Fennel Honey Butter, Serrano Ham, and Fried Pistachios

    1. Fry the Pistachios

Heat a quarter cup of extra-virgin olive oil in a skillet until it shimmers, indicating it's warmed but not smoking. Add one cup of shelled pistachios to the skillet and sauté over medium heat, stirring constantly for about 4 to 5 minutes or until they turn golden and emit a nutty aroma. Season with sea salt and set aside.

    2. Assemble the Platter

On a large platter, arrange 20 slices of good-quality bread and 10 to 15 thin slices of Serrano ham. Place a small bowl with one cup of fennel honey butter on the platter. Scatter the toasted pistachios over the bread and ham.
