    How to Make Pan-Fried Potatoes

    1. Prepare and Boil Potatoes

Start by peeling and cutting 1½ pounds of yellow potatoes into ¾-inch cubes. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the cubed potatoes. Boil them just until tender, ensuring they are not falling apart. Drain the potatoes and let them dry and cool for a few minutes.

    2. Pan-Fry Potatoes

Heat ½ cup of olive oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. When hot, add the potatoes to the pan. Fry them, stirring and tossing regularly for about 15 minutes until they are golden and crispy. Season with salt to taste.
