How to Make Nut-Free Sunflower Seed Flour

    1. Equipment Preparation

Place a mesh colander over a medium-sized bowl to set up for sieving the ground seeds.

    2. Grinding Seeds

Add the sunflower seeds to a coffee grinder and pulse for 10 to 20 seconds. Be attentive to avoid over-grinding, as this could result in sunflower seed butter.

    3. Sieving Flour

Transfer the ground seeds to the prepared colander. Shake it vigorously to sift the flour into the bowl below. Any larger pieces that remain should be ground again. Repeat this process three to four times, until you've sieved most of the sunflower seeds.

    4. Storage

Keep the sunflower seed flour in an airtight container or resealable bag. It should be stored in the refrigerator or freezer to maintain freshness until you're ready to use it.
