    How to Make Cheese Quesadillas

    1. Prepare Tortillas with Cheese

Lay out four tortillas on a clean surface. Evenly sprinkle the grated cheese over each tortilla, making sure the cheese reaches almost to the edges. Once you have an even layer of cheese, top each with another tortilla, pressing them gently together.

    2. Heat Skillet and Add Butter

Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter, about ½ teaspoon. Let the butter melt and sizzle, which will add flavor and help the tortillas become beautifully golden and crispy.

    3. Cook Quesadillas

Place one of the prepared quesadillas in the skillet. Cook it until the bottom tortilla is golden and crispy, then carefully flip it over using a spatula. Continue cooking until the second side is also golden and the cheese inside is melted and gooey.

    4. Keep Quesadillas Warm

Once the quesadilla is done, transfer it to a warm oven to keep it toasty while you cook the remaining quesadillas.
