How to Make Zesty Orange Cranberry Relish

    1. Preparing the Berries

In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and orange juice over medium-high heat. Stir the mixture to blend the ingredients.

    2. Cooking the Mixture

Keep cooking until the sugar has completely dissolved and cranberries start to pop, about 4 to 6 minutes. Stir the mixture once more.

    3. Infusing the Zest

Add the orange zest to the saucepan. Cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes. Once done, turn off the heat.

    4. Cooling Down

Cover the saucepan with a lid and let the cranberry sauce cool at room temperature.

    5. Chilling the Relish

Transfer the cooled cranberry sauce to a serving bowl. Cover the bowl and refrigerate until the relish is thoroughly chilled, which takes at least 2 hours.
