    How to Make Kumquat-Clementine Cordial

    1. Slice Kumquats and Place in Bottles

Slice the kumquats thinly and place them into clean bottles, allowing the citrus oils from the rind to infuse the mixture.

    2. Add Clementine Juice

Pour the freshly squeezed clementine juice into the bottles until they are about a third full.

    3. Fill with Alcohol

Choose your preferred spirit—white rum, Cognac, or bourbon—and fill the bottles, leaving some space at the top.

    4. Add Spices

Add coriander seeds, star anise, cinnamon sticks, and allspice berries into each bottle.

    5. Shake and Store

Seal the bottles tightly, shake them well, and store in a cool, dark place, shaking gently every day for about a week.

    6. Taste and Serve

After a week, taste the cordial and if it has reached the desired taste, it is ready to be served.
