How to Make Turkish Delight & Marshmallow Chocolate Treats

1. Prep Work

Line a 17cm square baking tin with foil, ensuring it covers the sides for easy removal.

2. Melting Magic

Place the butter, dark chocolate, and golden syrup into a medium-sized pan. Over a low heat, gently melt the ingredients, stirring frequently to ensure a smooth consistency. Once melted, remove from heat and allow cooling for about 10 minutes.

3. Mix & Crunch

Into the cooled chocolate mixture, stir in the crushed rich tea biscuits until they are fully coated. Add in the quartered marshmallows and sliced Turkish delight, stirring the mixture until everything is evenly distributed.

4. Chill & Set

Transfer the mixture to the prepared tin. Spread evenly, pressing down lightly to level it out. Refrigerate until the mixture is hard, which should take at least 1-2 hours for a firm set.

5. Slice & Enjoy

Once set, remove the chocolate slab from the tin by lifting the foil. Place on a cutting board and cut into bar-sized fingers.
