Graham Crackers, broken into rough pieces
pieces
tablespoons
Unsalted Butter, melted
tablespoons
1. Preheat Oven
Adjust your oven rack to the lower-middle position and preheat the oven to 325°F.
2. Process Graham Crackers
Begin by breaking the graham crackers into rough pieces and place them in a food processor. Process the graham cracker pieces until they turn into fine crumbs, which should take about 30 seconds.
3. Mix Ingredients
Transfer the graham cracker crumbs to a medium bowl. Add the sugar and pour in the melted butter. Use a fork to mix everything together until the crumbs are evenly moistened.
4. Form Crust
Empty the moistened crumbs into a 9-inch springform pan. Using a ramekin or a dry measuring cup, press the crumbs firmly and evenly across the bottom of the pan. Make sure to keep the sides of the pan clean to avoid any burning.
5. Bake Crust
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 13 minutes. You'll know it's ready when it becomes fragrant and starts to brown around the edges.
6. Cool Crust
Once baked, remove the crust from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack while still in the pan. Cooling the crust completely is essential before adding any filling, as it ensures that the crust remains crisp and doesn't get soggy.
