How to Make Watermelon Margarita

1. Prepare Rimming Salt

In a shallow bowl or plate, mix together fine sea salt and a dash of Tajín or ground cayenne for a bit of extra kick. This combination adds a subtle spicy touch and adorns the glasses with an eye-catching crust that complements the drink's flavors.

2. Mix the Margarita

Fill a shaker generously with ice. Pour in freshly strained watermelon juice, blanco tequila, a splash of Cointreau, and freshly squeezed lime juice. Optionally, add a couple of thinly sliced jalapeño rounds for a hint of spice. Secure the lid on the shaker and give it a robust shake to chill the mixture and allow the flavors to meld together.

3. Prepare and Serve

Rub the rims of two rocks glasses with reserved lime rinds to moisten and infuse a fresh lime scent. Dip the rims into the salt mix to coat evenly. Fill the glasses with fresh ice and strain the shaken margarita into them. Serve immediately.
