How to Make Frozen Ruby Citrus Margarita

    1. Combine Ingredients

Combine the freshly squeezed ruby red grapefruit juice, white tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup in a quart container. Mix well and place in the freezer for at least 6 hours or overnight until solid.

    2. Break Up Frozen Mixture

When ready to serve, use a fork to break up the frozen mixture.

    3. Blend First Batch

Transfer half of the frozen mixture to a blender. Add 1 cup of ice and 0.125 teaspoons of kosher salt. Blend until smooth.

    4. Serve First Batch

Divide the blended mixture into two highball glasses.

    5. Blend Second Batch

Repeat the blending process with the remaining frozen mixture, another cup of ice, and 0.125 teaspoons of kosher salt until smooth.

    6. Serve Second Batch

Pour the second batch into two more highball glasses.

    7. Garnish and Serve

Garnish each glass with a thin wedge of ruby red grapefruit and serve immediately.
