How to Make The Classic Boulevardier Cocktail

1. Combine Whiskey, Campari, and Vermouth

Measure out 2 ounces of rye or bourbon and pour it into a mixing glass. Introduce 1 ounce of Campari to the mix. Add half an ounce each of Cinzano Rosso and Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth.

2. Stir with Ice

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture until the outside of the glass is cool to the touch, indicating that the drink is well-chilled and properly diluted.

3. Strain and Serve

Strain the cocktail into a cocktail glass for an elegant presentation or over ice in a rocks glass for a more laid-back experience.

4. Garnish with Lemon Zest

Twist a piece of lemon zest over the glass to release the oils, then run it around the rim and drop it into the drink to add a subtle citrus aroma that ties the drink's bold flavors together.
