How to Make Chocolate Olive Oil Spread

    1. Melt Chocolate with Olive Oil

Begin by gently melting the dark chocolate with olive oil over medium-low heat in a medium saucepan. Stir continuously with a whisk until the chocolate has completely melted and has blended seamlessly with the olive oil, forming a smooth, glossy mixture.

    2. Whisk in Sugar and Cocoa Powder

Once the chocolate and olive oil mixture is smooth, gradually whisk in the confectioners’ sugar and cocoa powder. Continue to whisk until the mixture is evenly combined and free of any lumps.

    3. Cool and Set the Spread

Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature for about 4 to 6 hours. You'll know it's ready when it's set and spreadable. If you're in a hurry, you can speed up the process by placing it in the fridge. Begin with an initial 15-minute chill, then whisk every 5 minutes for up to 30 minutes until the texture transforms from liquid to spreadable.

    4. Finish with Sea Salt

Once the spread has reached the desired consistency, transfer it into a jar and sprinkle the top with flaky sea salt.
