How to Make Hummus from the Pot

1. Prepare Chickpeas

If using an Instant Pot, cook the chickpeas until they are very soft, almost losing their shape. For a quicker option, use canned chickpeas that are soft.

2. Blend Ingredients

Combine the soft chickpeas, tahini, minced garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, ground cumin, and salt to taste in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

3. Serve

Transfer the hummus to a serving dish, garnish as desired, and enjoy with your favorite accompaniments.
