How to Make Baked Camembert with Walnut Crumble and Ginger Marmalade

    1. Prepare Baking Sheet and Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a foil-lined baking sheet.

    2. Make the Walnut Crumble

In a medium bowl, combine the chopped walnuts, flour, butter, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Rub the mixture gently with your fingers until it becomes crumbly.

    3. Encase Cheese in Dough

Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick. Cut the dough into rounds large enough to fully encase the Camembert cheese wheels. Place each wheel on a dough round, spread ginger marmalade on top, and sprinkle with walnut crumble. Fold the dough over the cheese to create a sealed packet.

    4. Bake the Cheese

Brush the dough with the beaten egg. Transfer the cheese packets to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is soft.

    5. Cool and Serve

Let the baked Camembert cool slightly before serving with crackers or fresh bread.
